Mutyambai added that he will demonstrate his commitment in the road management of the traffic.

“I have called all my members from the stations that we become zero tolerant to officers involved in corruption in our roads,” he said.

As a way of helping fight corruption on Kenyan roads, Mutyambai revealed of a plan to reduce road blocks.

“Complaints have reached my office. Na nimeskia (And I have heard). I do not see any need of having a road block near airport as you are coming from Machakos and then another one at Mlolongo. One can serve us,” he said.

He spoke this when he received 5 bungalow houses constructed by Machakos County Government at Athi River police station.
